The tank collection

Berlo Tank. The shape everyone recognizes. Without the price everyone fears.

A steel Cartier Tank starts at $4,100. The Berlo Tank starts at $260 — same silhouette, same blue crown detail, a genuine Swiss movement.

A shape born from a battlefield. Refined into a watch.
Since 1917

A shape born from a battlefield. Refined into a watch.

In 1917, Louis Cartier looked at the tanks moving through the war and saw a shape — straight lines, a strong rectangle, nothing soft about it. He built a watch around it. He called it the Tank.

More than a century later, the shape still looks right.

We didn't invent this shape. Cartier did. They deserve the credit. We simply believe great design can inspire more than one watch — so we built our own take on it.

The outline that started it all, reshaped into the case you're looking at today.

"What are you really paying for — the watch, or the name on the dial?"

What's actually inside

Not the name on the dial. The details.

01

Swiss Ronda 762

A genuine Swiss movement from Ronda, making movements in Switzerland since 1946. Rated up to a 10-year battery life — set it, wear it, forget about it.

02

Sapphire crystal

Scratch-resistant sapphire glass — the same material used in watches costing many times more.

03

316L stainless steel

Recycled 316L steel. Waterproof, hypoallergenic, and it won't tarnish — built for actual daily wear.

04

36mm case

Large enough to have presence. Slim enough to keep the elegance of the shape Cartier first introduced.

05

Blue crown detail

The same signature detail Cartier introduced in 1917.

06

Certified lab-grown diamonds

10 on the Mohs scale — chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural diamonds. Every stone is certified by internationally recognized gemological laboratories. Selected models, from $319.

07

Cactus leather straps

A premium alternative to animal hide — soft, durable, and plant-based, handcrafted in Ubrique, Spain, the same region trusted by Dior, Loewe, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton.

One watch, worn your way

Quick-release straps. No tools, no fuss.

Release the pin, swap the strap, done — in about 20 seconds. Wear it formal tonight, casual tomorrow, without needing two watches.

"People keep asking whether it's a Cartier Tank, and nobody believes the price when I tell them. With real lab-grown diamonds and a Swiss movement, it really does feel crazy for what it costs."

Fair questions, honestly answered

What people ask before buying

"Is it just a cheap copy of the Cartier Tank?"

No. Same silhouette, same signature crown, same sapphire crystal — and both use a genuine Swiss movement, which is the category that actually matters, even when the exact maker differs. In steel, it's solid 316L stainless steel on both sides, not a lighter alloy substitute, so it weighs the same in hand too. In our own informal test, we showed it to 10 people without naming the brand — 9 couldn't tell it apart from a Cartier Tank.

"How do I know Berlo is trustworthy?"

Berlo has been making jewelry, leather goods, and watches for 5 years. The Tank is our newest piece, not our first — every order still comes with a 2-year warranty and a real person to reply to if something's wrong.

"Isn't quartz a cheap movement?"

No. The comparable Cartier Tank Must uses quartz too. Ours comes from Ronda — a respected Swiss movement maker since 1946 — rated for up to 10 years of battery life. It's about which movement and which maker, not the mechanism itself.
