Caring for your Berlo watch and straps
Any light source will do. A single charge can last up to 6 months.
Please keep in mind that interior lights are not as powerful as daylight or sunlight, so the recharging process takes longer. If the watch is constantly covered by clothing, the solar cell may also not receive the necessary amount of light.
If you’re not wearing it, it’s best to leave your solar watch near a window once every few months. Or simply roll up your sleeves while you’re outdoors!
In the User Guide you can find a complete guide on how to charge your watch.
Sure thing! Berlo Uprise Collection watches withstand the pressure of up to 20 bar (~200m/660ft). It’s suitable for diving and water sports. We recommend switching to your Berlo rubber strap before any water activities.
In the User Guide you can find a guide on how to maintain your watch’s water resistance throughout its lifetime.
Any watch needs servicing from time to time to ensure it functions properly. If the solar watch is handled as instructed, we recommend servicing it every 3-4 years.
Please keep in mind that, depending on the climate and usage habits, servicing may have to be done more often. For example, if you’re a frequent swimmer, diver, kite surfer, etc., we recommend checking it once a year.
In the User Guide you can find a guide on how to care for your solar watch.
If the solar watch keeps jumping over seconds, it means the battery is not storing sufficient energy, so some of the functions don’t behave properly. Please try recharging your watch by exposing it to daylight or sunlight for about 5-6 hours.
In the User Guide you can find a guide on how to charge your watch.
Start with charging your watch before using it the first time. Please refer to the Recharging section in the User Guide on how to do it.
Make sure to recharge your solar watch regularly. When you’re not wearing it, it’s best to leave it near a window for 5-6 hours once every month.
In the User Guide you can find a guide on how to charge your watch.
Your watch should not be left in direct sunlight outside or on heated surfaces (window seals, stone surfaces, etc.) for too long, or too close to a fluorescent lamp or other light sources, If the watch temperature increases drastically, it can damage watch parts and cause malfunctions of the mechanism.
Frequent exposure to direct sunlight may also discolor your watch straps. Only leave your solar watch to recharge for the specified time period near a window.
